The decision for an individual to downsize their estate can be a difficult decision. Organizing and managing a move is a very overwhelming task.
Establishments such as, (but not limited to) government/state agencies, churches, realtors, lawyers, and banks that assist clients with estates, moves, and other liquidation requirements.
In most cases, several options are available to disperse of household contents, including:
Divide between family members; and/or
Arrange for an estate sale, auction, or manage a garage sale.
Time permitting, chosing to have an estate sale, auction, or a garage sale are all great options and are highly recommended.
Some families can have concerns about the prolonged tasks of organizing a garage sale, or hiring a third party to manage an estate sale or auction.
